Diet Plans – Carbohydrate Mix

You might know, you can not go anywhere without healthy snacks. Along with the raw fruits and vegetables, eggs, canned tuna/chicken and water, you need some complex carbohy­drates. If you are trying to lose some weight, these complex carbohydrates need to be efficient low-fat energizers. A healthy cereal is a convenient choice. Raw oatmeal can be used.

One of the most favorite mixes is some spoon-size shredded wheat and raisins. The raisins seem to sweeten the taste of the crispy shredded wheat. As you are snacking during the day, try to make the bulk of your snacks fresh fruits and vegetables. However, if you feel an intense hunger coming on, go for the shredded wheat and raisin mix.

It is important at this point that you eat a small handful and wait a little while. Usually after a few minutes, the body’s cravings mellow out a little. If not, eat another small handful. Eventually, you will know instinctively when your body needs some complex carbohydrates before your hunger starts. What you will be doing is heading hunger off at the pass. Never let hun­ger get a grip on you. Everyone’s body is different, but they all operate the same way. If you want to lose weight, you have to walk a very fine line. Give your body what it needs, not what it wants.
